Welcome to the "Present." We have come a long way since August Benz started Benz Spring Company in 1922. Our building (pictured on the right) is located at 4330 SW Macadam, on the Willamette River. This is where all our work is done, from manufacturing leaf springs and u-bolts to the wholesale of auto parts. |

The u-bolt shown in this picture is made of 1˝" spring steel rod. It is resting on a heavy-duty Mack spring that has 8 leaves of 1.25 x 5 spring steel. This spring weighs 790 lbs and is capable of supporting 50,000 lbs. |
